What do you think will be the greatest thing about Heaven? Some would say the greatest thing about Heaven is seeing their loved ones who have gone on before them. It will be great to see my grandparents, my parents, and all the wonderful people that the Lord has allowed me to serve alongside of in His kingdom’s work. It will be great and there will be a lot of catching up to do as we sit down and talk or stroll over Heaven together.
Some would say that the greatest thing about Heaven is the new body that we will have. No pain, no sorrow, no growing old or going to the doctor. The leaves of the tree of life for the healing of the nations: eat a leaf and all is well. I have never lived in a place with no curse. To be without pain that reminds you constantly that there is a death date looming will be great.
I would have to say that, for me, I think the best thing about Heaven will be the fellowship with the Lord. To walk with God in the cool of the day, to have such a perfect fellowship with no hinderances is going to be the tops. My created purpose will be fulfilled with no flesh to stand in the way, no corrupt world to influence me, no Satan trying to deceive me; just my loving God, enjoying His prize creation as it was originally intended. What a day that will be when my Savior I shall see, as He walks with me and talks with me, what a day that will be. Heaven is greater than our minds can comprehend. Every part of it will be great and, when you put it all together, you are reminded of what a wonderful future we have. It is all because Jesus paid it all.
