Pastor's Article 10-25-26

Living with Purpose
One of the saddest things I have ever seen is a life spent without purpose. Some people spend much of their lives eating, sleeping, and watching television, never seeking or discovering why they are here. Life becomes a matter of simply existing or surviving from day to day rather than truly living.
Seeking God’s Purpose
I challenge you to ask the Lord to show you why you are here. You were created with purpose. God designed you with a desire to know Him and discover His plans for your life. When fear of failure, procrastination, or laziness keeps you from doing what He created you to do, you miss the fulfillment of living with purpose. A life without purpose lacks passion and conviction. God also created you with a desire to worship Him, and true worship means living in a way that is guided by His worth.
Answering His Call
One of the most exciting—and frightening—parts of giving my life to Christ was experiencing His call to preach the Gospel and pastor a church. Nearly every day, I wake with a burning desire to hear from heaven, prepare a message, and teach God’s people to follow Him. Being a pastor brings trials, struggles, and sometimes disappointments. Yet knowing that God has called me to this work keeps me moving forward. Nothing else in this world could bring that same contentment to my life.
Reflecting on Your Purpose
What has God called you to do?
What were you created for?
How are you fulfilling His purpose for your life?
Beloved, remember that you were not created for yourself, but for Him. Your life is meant to bring honor to His wonderful name.
