Pastor's Article 07-28-24

What does Jesus want the church of the last days to know? We will see over the next few weeks as we go verse by verse through the book of Revelation.
There have been many times in my life that I have sat down with my wife and had some very personal conversations with her about the vision, direction and plan for our family. That is the essence of the first three chapters of the book of Revelation: Jesus is talking to His bride the church. It is important for us to remember that even with all the church’s problems and challenges, He loves us and has washed us with His own blood. Please make a point of noting that we cannot get to where we need to be as the bride of Christ until we take an honest look at where we are. To see where we are, we must have a clear look at who Jesus is, because that is the standard of where we need to be.
Jesus loves me just like I am, but too much to leave me this way. Therefore, He is all about making me what I need to be. Join me in yielding to the Lord and being committed to following Him as He washes us with His Word so that we may be presented as perfect and holy as He calls us out of this sin-polluted world. I am looking forward to our walk through the Revelation of Jesus Christ in the months to come.
