Pastor's article 01-19-25

In our study through the book of Revelation, we have seen some terrible things that are going to take place here on planet Earth during the Great Tribulation. As we continue this study, it seems that things have gone from bad to worse. We are accustomed to seeing scary-looking creatures on the TV screen as we watch movies that are formed from the minds of Hollywood’s elite producers. These movies are produced with the intent of scaring us for a good entertaining thrill and adrenaline rush. Therefore, it is important that I remind you that the prophecies that we look at in the book of Revelation are not fiction. Anything we can imagine from these descriptions cannot begin to meet with the terrifying days that are ahead. When the four angels are released from the Euphrates River, leading their demonic army of assailants, the people who have rejected the love of God will face a battle unlike anything they have ever experienced. The question I have is, why? What has led to this all-out rebellion of humanity against God? I really don’t get it. Why are so many people bent on rejecting Christ and suffering in a life of rebellion and agony only to be defeated and spend eternity in unimaginable pain and suffering?  It breaks my heart to read this knowing that it is happening right now. As I write this, people all around us are living in the sorrow of sin and wallowing in the pain of their own rejection of Christ. Jesus loves us, Jesus loves them, Jesus loves you and if you, or anyone, will come to Him, He will give everlasting life, instruction and the power to live every day with peace, joy, and hope. Today, will you come to Him, let Him bless your life and give you the assurance of a bright future?
