pastor's article 05-04-25

Imagine living in a world where the future holds nothing to anticipate, only the unfolding of the dreadful events described in the book of Revelation. According to this text, people left on Earth after the first three and a half years of tribulation face further devastation, described as great tribulation, as it continues over the next three and a half years. Many individuals search daily for something hopeful or motivating to look forward to, which helps them progress positively each day.
There are people who do not have such hopes for the future. For those who have not accepted Christ, their perspective is eternal damnation as they approach the end of their days. Observing someone losing their possessions and independence due to age and illness can be difficult, but if they have the hope of heaven, through a relationship with Christ, it provides them with comfort and a peace that passes all understanding.
The future can vary greatly depending on individual beliefs and perspectives. Do you have hope and assurance beyond this world? For those who know Christ, they have joy and confidence about their futures even in the daily difficulties here because the best is yet to come. I hope your eternity is secure in Christ Jesus.
