Pastor's Article 10-12-25

Judgement House is just one week away and I hope that you have been praying that God would give us a great harvest of souls. We have practiced, and will be decorating and working every night to give a clear presentation of the gospel, but remember that all is in vain without the moving of the Holy Spirit. Evangelism is not a job that can be completed by the human mind or just hard work; it requires God drawing people to Himself. I had a professor tell me one time: it requires preparation, proclamation, perspiration and a divine invitation from the Holy Spirit.  We must do our part by praying and trusting God to do His work of calling people to Himself. There are flyers to hand out, an invitation on Facebook, the sign outside the church, the announcements on the radio and in the newspapers, but nothing can take the place of a personal invite from you - the people of God. Please invite your family and friends to come and experience Judgement House. If you are part of a ball team, a work group, or any kind of club, invite those people to come and walk through. Jesus said in a parable, “go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in” (Luke 14:23), and I am asking you to do the same thing. 
There is also a great opportunity to invite people to come to our Fall Festival which will be on Wednesday, October 29th from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM that evening. We always have a blast at our Fall Festival and this year will be no exception. There will be lots of good food, fun games, and great fellowship to be had by all. Please invite all your friends and family to this great fall event.
Now let me thank you for all that you are going to do as a church family to put these events on. You are the best, and your hard work and faithfulness are very appreciated. I am honored to be your pastor, and I thank God for you. Keep on keeping on and let us work hard to lift up the name that is above every name, Jesus our Lord and soon coming King.
