Tammy and I want to thank you as our church family for the wonderful day set aside to express your gratitude for our service to the Lord here at Tom’s Creek. You are a very gracious church and it really has been our honor to serve you over these many years. It is our desire to see God continue to bless this church with many labors, much fruit, and a great atmosphere of love and cooperation.
We are going to take a short break from our series through Revelation to do another series leading up to Easter. We are going to go from the Upper Room to the Resurrection, then we will get back on the Book of Revelation and finish it up. It would feel almost rebellious not to look at the grace that was bestowed upon us at Calvary during this most holy season.
We had a great time of outreach last Monday evening with at least 38 people showing up to help in the effort of canvassing some of the new subdivisions around the church. We visited about 118 homes in one night and mailed out about 50 letters inviting people to visit Tom’s Creek. It is amazing to see what can be accomplished when we work together. The Apostle Paul said it like this, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase”
1 Corinthians 3:6. So now we pray and expect God to give the increase. To all who were a part of helping and praying for us as we went: thank you, and please continue to be a part of going into the highways and hedges as we work to compel those around us to come to Christ.
