Commitment - the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause.
Total commitment would mean something similar but being absolute in your dedication so that nothing can be more important.
Half-hearted commitment would mean that you are not fully committed but at times you try to be.
So, based on your life, service, past vows and prayers of dedication, which of the three describes your current commitment level to Christ and His Church? When I think back to the day I gave my life to Jesus, I distinctly remember telling Him that I now belong to Him. I remember other times when I told Him that I would do anything He asked me to do. Through His Word, He has asked me to be faithful to assemble at Church. He has asked me to be a witness at home and to the uttermost parts of the world. He has commanded me to love others, to lead, to teach, to serve, and to give to make His love known and available to the whosoevers I encounter.
If your level of commitment to Your spouse was the same as your level of commitment to Christ, how strong or healthy would your marriage be? Please remember that God has called each of us to take up our cross daily and follow Him. That is a call of total commitment. If your life is not totally committed to Jesus, will you fix that right now by surrendering your will to His?
