Plugged In

I am so glad to see the Covid-19 Numbers dropping and life starting to return to as normal as things can get in a crazy, messed up world. To me, this means that Tom's Creek needs to get after it with ministry and evangelism. Our Choir is going wide open, our Sunday School Classes are up and running, and we are will be meeting very soon to get our VBS planning started. We met last Wednesday night and will be meeting this Sunday evening to get our plans up and ready for our Children's ministry. The Youth have some events planned as well as a mission trip to Alaska and a youth trip to Panama City Beach, Florida this summer. I get excited just thinking about how great this summer is going to be and how many people could possibly be saved through the ministries that God is allowing us to be a part of.

I want to encourage you to get plugged in and work together as the body of Christ using your gifts and abilities for the glory of God. Over the last year, we have missed a lot because of this sickness. Yet, the fact that there are millions of people in this world who do not know Christ and have the peace that comes from a personal relationship with Him should motivate us to get busy with the work of evangelism. We must make Him known to the world, and it starts right here where we live.

Please find your place of service, get trained, get fired up and get the Word out about Jesus this spring and summer. We will start our outreach training soon and start meeting to visit and make contacts as soon as our state lifts all its restrictions. This is going to be a great year and we want to sow this community down with the seeds of the Gospel.

Your Pastor,
Rev. Wayne Marcus
