When you were purchased by the blood of Christ what was included in the deal? Of course, you know that if you are saved it is because God has purchased you with the blood of His only begotten Son. “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28).
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” (Rev. 5:9).
So, how much of who you are and what you have did God get when He purchased you? I think you know how God answers that question but are you and God clear on the agreement? When God redeemed me He paid a high price for all of who I am. He owns my life, and everything that I have been made a steward of. My Sundays and my Saturdays, my tithe and my savings account, my soul and my mind, He owns it all. We are not to trust Him with just our sin and our soul but with our life and our living. We are to give Him all of who we are because He has given His all to redeem us. We often search our will or desire when making plans, but we are obligated to seek the will of the owner or Lord of our life when making plans that concern a life that has been bought and paid for. If He is the Lord of your life then give Him the reins and let Him lead you.
