The Lord has promised to return and call His Church away, we don’t know when this will happen, but we do know it will happen. Jesus made this comment when sharing a parable about the lack of justice on this earth and how his people will be mistreated here. He asked the question, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) What a convicting question for the Lord to put before His church. Faith is not just what we hope for, but it is what we do in obedience to the Lord’s leadership. Think about the Lord’s question in a personal way, if the Lord returned right now as you read this, would he find you being faithful to His leadership. If not, what happened, did opposition cause you to throw in the towel? Did you simply get lazy or distracted and forsake the call of God on your life? You may have been one the millions of Christians that stopped attending Church during the Covid-19 pandemic and have simply not returned to Church or the work of God. What if the Lord called you out of this world right now and you were caught denying your faith commitment to the Lord? Please heed this warning and know that God didn’t save you by your works, but He saved you unto good works. Faith is not just what you say you believe, it is the evidence of your beliefs motivating your behavior. To say you trust and believe God and not submit to His call on your life is just wrong, matter of a fact it is knowing to do good and doing it not. For the love and glory of God will you walk in faith and get busy doing the will of the Father?
